IQ.wiki Encyclopedia

The world's largest crypto and blockchain encyclopedia, rebuilt front to back. The work spanned the reading experience, the data layer behind it, and the editorial surfaces that keep the article base current — a rebuild that took monthly visitors from 40K to 139K inside two months.

  • Co-built the reader-facing encyclopedia interface in Next.js and TypeScript, tuned for technical SEO and a 243% lift in monthly visitors.
  • Designed, built and documented the GraphQL queries and REST APIs (TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL) feeding every data-intensive surface.
  • Shipped the transparency layer readers rely on: activity logs, per-article edit history and milestone timelines rendered from stored revisions.
  • Extended the encyclopedia beyond articles — a MarketCap explorer, an events directory and a Web3 glossary, all sharing one content pipeline.

Sophia

The first IPFS-based, self-documenting editor for crypto knowledge, enabling real-time creation, editing and sharing.

TypeScript · IPFS · React

Sophia

The first IPFS-based, self-documenting editor for crypto knowledge, built with a six-person team. Every article is written, versioned and published straight to IPFS, with an AI assistant layered on top to draft, review and triage at a scale an editorial team could not match by hand.

  • Built the editor around content-addressed IPFS storage, so each revision is immutable and self-documenting rather than a row overwritten in a database.
  • Composed the editing surface from discrete blocks — sections, citations, media and version history — so contributions stay structured enough to validate.
  • Wired an AI assistant into the editor for drafting and inline review, with a request queue routing suggestions back to human editors.
  • Added the operational surfaces that queue needed: bulk processing, trending-topic detection and an issues board for gaps like missing-rank wikis.

Tokenized-asset tracking with on-chain analysis, surfacing staking opportunities and treasury insights. Led a 5-person team.

TypeScript · On-chain analysis

IQ Treasury Platform

The governance and treasury interface for the IQ ecosystem, built leading a five-person team. It turns raw on-chain activity into something a token holder can act on — what the treasury holds, what staking is worth, and how to move between assets without leaving the dashboard.

  • Led a 5-person team building the platform end to end, from on-chain data ingestion to the interface on top of it.
  • Built the treasury view as a live read of tokenized-asset holdings, aggregating positions across contracts into a single balance sheet.
  • Shipped staking flows that surface real yield alongside lock terms, so the trade-off is visible before a user commits.
  • Integrated an in-dashboard swap path, keeping governance, staking and rebalancing inside one session.

Hoop

A native macOS menu bar agent that turns the MacBook notch into a control centre. An NSPanel overlay sits over the notch in a custom concave shape and expands on hover, click or global hotkey — media controls, a widget drawer, system HUD, a file drop zone and live market alerts, with no dock icon.

  • Built the overlay as an NSPanel in a custom concave notch shape with spring expand/collapse animations, backed by NSVisualEffectView for vibrancy.
  • Drove media playback through Apple’s private MediaRemote.framework via dlopen, falling back to Spotify distributed notifications and Apple Music AppleScript polling when macOS 14 returns empty data.
  • Shipped a widget drawer covering clipboard history, timers, EventKit calendar, notes, Shortcuts, colour picker, unit conversion, webcam mirror and system stats.
  • Turned the notch into a drop target: files dragged onto it run image compression, OCR, any Shortcut or a shell script, chainable into pipelines.
  • Streamed live market data over WebSocket from Binance and Bybit, plus Polymarket and Kalshi price moves, and ran a local webhook server so TradingView alerts surface in the notch.
  • Made the layout context-aware — widgets switch on the frontmost app, the time of day, or the active macOS Focus mode.

Software engineer and systems thinker.

My foundation is product engineering. I build with TypeScript, Next.js and Node across frontend interfaces, backend services and AI-assisted systems — translating complex business requirements into products people actually use.

The analytical half matters as much as the build. I've optimized user metrics, run on-chain data analysis, and worked across functional teams to keep engineering output pointed at business objectives rather than away from them.

Lately that means AI-assisted systems: agent frameworks, LLM tooling and the analytics needed to tell whether any of it is working.
